Our client approached Synecco seeking ways to reduce their manufacturing and NPD costs, while also reducing the time to market.
Initially Synecco engaged in drawing up a current state VSM and then working with the client’s team defined a future state VSM that met the client’s expectations. Also key to this was continuous improvement and the creation of a joint balanced scorecard.
From this we began our Total Cost Solution program.
The Results.
Synecco delivered unit cost reductions of 31% in year 1. Followed by further cost reductions in year 2 and year 3.
On NPD programs Synecco have achieved an average cost reduction of 35% and have reduced time to market by on average 40%.
Our innovative design and process solutions have delivered valuable IP for our client. Our DFMA experience also created products that were more efficient to deliver.
Throughout the process Synecco works seamlessly with the client, integrating our NPD, manufacturing and logistics services., enabling our client to concentrate on the core sales and marketing activities.
Synecco have commenced a program with this client to facilitate the selling of their products to the Chinese market.
